The
green colour of the wheatfields
Both colour of Islam
and symbol of paradise, green is said to be
the favourite colour of the prophet who may
have used his green turban as a sign of uniting. |

species, the mint flavours the green tea. This
national drink called "nana" is present
in every Moroccan houses and symbolizes hospitality.

The green colour of Islam
is everywhere: on the roofs of palaces, mosques,
medersas, on the canopies of the front doors.

The olive tree is the main
fruit tree in Morocco. Collected from November
to December, olives can be crystallized, cooked
in tajines or put in mixed salads. They also make
a nice and flavoured oil.
